Fraser Gordon (Quantum Works)

Fraser Godron VIP speaker at Ritossa's
Fraser Gordon, VIP speaker

Mr. Gordon presented his company, QuantumWorks at Sir Anthony Ritossa's recent Family Office Invesment Summit. Being a VIP Speaker cost him at least 30,000EUR.

Fraser is a multi-award winning Scottish businessman and the CEO of Quantum Works. As a talented and successful entrepreneur, he recognised the opportunity to combine the two evolving markets of gaming and cryptocurrency.

Crypto, and their token is called Qbit. Do you think it has to do with quantum computing?

No, this is a game: magical unicorns (well, or other heroes) will interbreed and give birth to new unicorns (or robots) with unique body parts (or weapons). The player will then be able to sell them for game currency, which can be exchanged for regular, fiat money, or used in other games. The game currency must first be bought, however. And ther lies an investment opportunity, as the game has to be developed. White paper.

Having said that, we might have doubts in the viability of the game's bussiness model, but it does not make the game a scam. Investors can judge that for themselves. What we can be sure in is that Mr. Fraser was wrong to pay Mr. Ritossa for access to sheilks and whales, in an attempt to raise money for the development of his game. It is a very bad bang for the buck.

Update Nov 11, 2022

The post has been updated to reflect Mr. Fraser's take on the [lack of] usefulness Mr. Ritossa's conference:

we paid a lot of money to attend the Monaco summit, where we did not get to meet with qualified investors as promised and overall we feel like we paid a lot of money for nothing
