On Crunchbase, which is one of the first tnings startup will read when looking at the potential investor, you can read in the Prince's investor’s profile that he is a prince from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. So, on the council, you might think, they advise on and manage the investments of this sheikh from the Gulf.

But If you open a website with a pompous name of http://foundation.assafdynasty.com/ (traditionally, no HTTPS), you will find out that

He is a hereditary Royal Prince of the 7th century Assaf Dynasty (Banu Assaf, “Assaf” a Persian word meaning “genuine”) of the Mamluk Sultanate of the Persian Keserwan of Mount Lebanon (from 1306) and of Tripoli (from 1585). His long dynasty is one of the oldest of all Middle East.

That state, which stretched from Lebanon to Egypt, has been gone for 500 years. And no one heard about the heirs, until in 2019 an enterprising Lebanese appeared with an old Arabian coat of arms, that for some reason has an English inscription using a Gothic font.

And in just a year or so, the Coat of Arms was completely changed. European undertones removed, and the English inscription is now accented with an arabic-style font resembling the Prince of Persia movie titles. Five hundred years of continuity destroyed. 🤣

But he did get some recognition. According to the Prince, his status as royalty was confirmed by King Togbe Osai of the Royal House of Godenu in Gbi-Godenu in Ghana, who rules the eponymous village and is friends with Queen Diambi of DRC.

As a way of raising funds and materials for the development of the village of Godenu (urbanized area of the “chieftaincy”), Togbe established a small honorific system of European inspiration for the village.

Also, the “prince” achieved recognition from “His Royal Highness Ruben Alberto Gavalda of Argentina” — the self-appointed “prince of Septimania from the Royal House of Gevaudan of the 10th century” , and from self-proclaimed “His Highness the Sultan of Sulu in the Philippines”. According to some claims that we were not able to corroborate, the “Prince” was also recognized by the Russian Orthodox Church.

In turn, "His Royal Highness Ruben Alberto Gavalda of Argentina" is a "doctor of science" from the Royal International Academy of the United Nations(!), owned not by the United Nations, as you might think, but by Oksana Chernovskaya and His Highness Duke Dr. Alexander Sokolinsky.

Ruben Alberto Gavalda, behold, also sits on the board of the "Prince's Private Council" with Freire-Garabal y Núñez’s of Al-Khalifa Business School and Anthony Ritossa.

There are two more people who share work on the board of Al-Khalifa Business School and the Prince's "private council". Both careers resemble Russia's FSB agents a lot.:

  • His Excellence Prof. Sir Igor Olegovich Eleferenko (described in Anthony Ritossa's post)
  • Sir Sergey Pecheliev - vice-rector of MGIMO, Russia's premier university for foreign service and espionage
