Prince Michel de Yougoslavie

Prince Michel is the Distinguished Grand Ambassador and one of the three co-chairment of Mr. Ritossa's Global Family Office Investment Summits, together with Anthony Ritossa and Markus Lehner.

Prince has a very interesting LinkedIn profile, “CEO at Myself” where he speaks of himself in the third person.

Prince Michel used to work as an associate broker in Florida. He might be the grandson of a king, but he omits the most interesting fact from his bio:

Bernie Madoff was an American fraudster and financier who ran the largest Ponzi scheme in history, worth about $64.8 billion. In 2009, he received 150 years in prison when his scheme became insolvent.

Ponzi schemes normally collapse quickly. The longevity of Madoff’s system was explained by its continuous geographical expansion and by systematic recourse, driven by the touts, to a worldwide network of feeder funds and mainstream banks offering highly lucrative investments, often with no reference to Madoff. This way, with the greatest possible discretion, he harnessed savings from around the world, generating the cash flow needed to sustain the fraud. In practice, most investors didn’t place their money directly with the financier but via funds like Fairfield Greenwich Advisors, Ascot Partners, or Access International Advisors.

The rush of large financial institutions to buy into Madoff, often without their clients’ knowledge, is explained by the high rates of return and by a very advantageous system of commissions and discounts.

Access International Advisors was run by Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet, a former Paribas and Crédit Lyonnais executive who, unluckily, was charmed by Madoff and placed all his clients’ cash with him via various hedge funds. The chief of these funds was the Luxembourg fund LuxAlpha.

A small army of royally connected ‘Alpine advisers’ was employed by René-Thierry Magon de la Villehuchet to trawl the casinos, ski slopes and yacht clubs of Europe in the search for wealthy investors. They would haunt the stamping grounds of the rich from the ski slopes of Switzerland to Monte Carlo and the Mediterranean in the hunt for investors.

Their mission was to raise cash for Mr de la Villehuchet’s Access International which in turn would feed the demand from the now disgraced Bernard Madoff’s pyramid investment schemes.

One of the Access Internation Advisors funds, Luxalpha, invested EXCLUSIVELY into Madoff.

Fraudsters tried to persuade the English royal family to invest, namely, at that time Prince Charles of Wales — now the king. And it was none other than Prince Michel de Yugoslavie who did that.

In the documents of the US Attorney’s Office, the heir to the throne (Charles) is mentioned next to our “European aristocracy”. Prince Michel approached Charles at a polo tournament also attended by Princes William and Harry.
